Katana Frankfurt offers fixed dates for those interested in learning about the traditional Japanese martial art of Kendō. Beginners can therefore only begin training on these dates. The next trial training session begins on October 22, 2026, and ends on November 5, 2026.

The course, consisting of three training sessions, costs €42 for children under 18. The price includes a bamboo sword (shinai) and a kendo beginner’s booklet with many helpful tips for newcomers to kendo.

The registration deadline is October 20, 2026, at 6:00 PM.

(After November 5, 2026, one can only continue training as a Katana member.)

Who?

Anyone is welcome to participate in the trial training sessions on the three dates listed.
Please bring workout clothes to the training and remove any jewelry beforehand.
